Firsthand Experience with On-the-Job Injury

Before he was an attorney, Mr. Kohler suffered an on-the-job injury himself—a back injury sustained while working for the United Parcel Service. As a result of the injury, he went through the Minnesota workers' compensation system, gaining firsthand knowledge of the steps and procedures employees must follow to obtain workers' comp benefits. This experience inspired him to become a lawyer and to help injured workers effectively deal with the physical, financial and emotional aftermath of being hurt on the job.

Down-to-Earth, Personal Service

As a solo practitioner, Mr. Kohler is able to get to know his clients, and his clients get to know him. From the first consultation forward, he is the one to communicate with the client, promptly returning phone calls, providing updates on case status, and addressing any concerns. Mr. Kohler takes pride in being down-to-earth, approachable, and in making complex legal concepts understandable for his clients.
